Legally binding version is the German one. This English text is a convenience translation; in case of doubt the German legal notice prevails.
This website is run privately and on a non-commercial basis. The obligation to provide a legal notice under § 5 DDG (German Digital Services Act, since 14 May 2024 the successor to § 5 TMG) applies to digital services offered commercially. "Commercially" here means a planned offering set up for a certain duration with an economic connection — and is not the same as an intent to make a profit. As this site is operated purely privately, without a plan and without any economic connection, no such obligation applies here. Nevertheless, the details required to exercise the rights to information, rectification and erasure under the GDPR are disclosed transparently below.
Should the offering become commercial in the future — for example through advertising, affiliate links, donation appeals or the commercial promotion of products or services — a complete legal notice with a real name and a summonable address will be added without delay.
